After 17 years, India has once again claimed the T20 World Cup title. However, due to natural disaster Beryl, the Indian team could not return immediately. The Indian world champions will arrive in Delhi early tomorrow morning and will have a busy day filled with various events.
A special Air India flight carrying the Indian team will land at Delhi Airport at 6:20 AM. At 11:00 AM, the World Cup-winning Indian team members will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence. The Prime Minister has invited the team for a special meeting.
In the evening, starting from 5:00 PM, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and others will be in an open-top bus parade in Mumbai. The victory parade will cover a two-kilometer route ending at Wankhede Stadium. The celebration at Wankhede Stadium will begin at 7:30 PM, where the BCCI officials will present the Indian team with a reward of 125 crore INR. The world champions will be honored in the ceremony.
